Hold Me Now

Imagine for a second a world where there is no war.

Imagine for a second a world where there is no hurting.
Imagine for a second a world where there is no tears.
Imagine for a second a world where no one argues.
Imagine for a second a world where there is nothing but love, and happiness. Imagine a world where everyone does nothing but love.

That world will be here soon! Jesus WILL return one day and fix all the troubles of this world! He will make it so we do nothing but bow down in worship for Him and thank Him for this wonderful earth. The Kingdom of Heaven will be on earth!

However...until that day comes...it is OUR jobs to make it that way.
Hurting, tears, arguments....that’s all things we (as Christ followers) SHOULD change.

Banning Liebscher in his book "Jesus Culture" (go buy it now!) says this:
'This is inarguably the greatest hour in history, and you are invited to participate in the most monumental move of God the world has ever seen! The Lord wants the hearts of people across the earth, and He is awakening His Church to His desire.


I dream of entire cities and nations being saturated and transformed by the Presence of God-and I am devoted to seeing an army of healing revivalists raised up who demonstrate the Kingdom of God…to under grid this activation, God is installing an entirely new mindset in us- a mentality founded upon the truth that nothing is impossible…this renewed attitude is founded upon the awareness that if God is with us, then who can be against us?"

Wow, wow, wow. Read that again.

He told us that nothing is impossible. Nothing, why…because we have GOD.

“Jesus looked at them and said ‘With human beings this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”-Matthew 19:26

There is a generation of Christ followers that are no longer sitting back and waiting for someone else to start changing the world…they are getting up and doing it themselves! And we need to do that! God did NOT create us to be the light, to just sit back and wait for His return.

While we are on this earth, we need to start changing it to be nothing but Jesus centered.

Jesus tells us in John that ‘I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be SAVED…I have come that they may have life and have it to the fullest’.

Notice that Jesus doesn’t say that He came so we could just enjoy our time on earth, lazily watching the world fall to sin…He said that HE CAME SO WE COULD HAVE IT TO THE FULLEST!

Jesus came to the earth so WE could have it to the fullest.
We need to stop waiting for others to rise up and take control…WE ALL need to rise up.

We all need to preach the good news! We all need to be living a live of love.
1 Corinthians 13:13-And now abide faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.

Liebscher said that we must have the mentality of ‘if God is with us, who can be against us?’ and we have to tell ourselves that daily!

The question really is…if everyone of your friends left you because you believed in God, would you still praise Him?
Recently I had a huge run in with this. I was asked to try and ‘tone down’ my God talk to a friend because they didn’t believe in Him.

Want to know my response?
I said no.
This life is not about making friends. It’s not about being the most popular, and having the greatest clothes. It’s not about having the most friends on face book, it’s not about making people happy.

The only one you should be concerned with is Jesus, and what He did for you.

Jesus is the only one.

So where do we start this rise of Christ followers? By not keeping our mouth shut! The Devil is going to try and constantly but something in your life to try and hush you…don’t let him! Yell at the top of your lungs the good news!

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY ANSWER!

Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you up so you never will be empty!
You may be thinking I’m crazy….which is great! I am! For God.

Or you may be think ok Megan, where do I start??

By spreading the good news. By acting like Jesus is the most important thing in your life.

Paul calls us to preach the good news….do you know he wasn’t just talking about those of us who are going into Ministry, he was talking to every one?

So spread that good news.

Think about this: do all of your friends know you love Jesus?

Start big! There is no reason to ‘ease’ your way into being totally in love with Jesus.
Place bible verses as status updates, read your bible every day!

We need to start brining people to Christ.

God is constantly at work in our lives…think about all the blessings He’s given you.

Now take out all the crud in your life…and think about all the more blessings He’ll give you.

Jesus we come to You humble. We know that we can not survive on this earth with out You. We want to rise up Lord and do nothing but Praise Your name. It is a name worthy of Praise.

Jesus help us to step up and out of the world. We know that you are the only answer and that no matter who leaves us, in You we will find our strength.
Let us not be ashamed to quote scripture and lead our unsaved friends to You.
We are all here to bring Heaven to earth before you get here…help us and give us the strength.
Your love is all we need.
You are all we need.
